class reflections

As the class is coming to an end I have to say it was a lot different then I expected.  I really enjoyed this class I liked how it went through the years of the existence of pornography. I also enjoyed how it left space for debate.  Pornography is a pretty controversial issue and I liked how I was given the opportunity to express my opinions. I also felt that for the most part classmates were pretty respectful of others opinions. For an online class it was very informative . I appreciated how each week assignments were reiterated its easy to loose track of what is expected when you are never physically at class, the course blog was very useful.  After taking this class I have been much more aware of issues that have arouse.  When watching t.v I see how many times something is aired that might actually cause controversy.  A class like this really makes you think and I enjoyed haveing an active role in it.
